This an on going project, funded by Equality Now and implemented by Life Bloom Services International (LBSI).
Through this project, LBSI is supporting 20 girls(8-16 years) living in Mithuri and Kihoto in Naivasha Sub County who are victims and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation to break from the cycle of sexual exploitation in the sex industry and rebuild their lives into positive futures. The project is helping them to build a strong survivor network in which peer to peer support and mentoring is encouraged.
The project is implemented through the help of mother mentors and sister mentors who will act as co’ parents and role models to the girls respectively.
