Using a peer-mentoring model, we aim at reconstructing our clients’ self-esteem and help them fulfill their life dreams. LBSI exists to offer support to women and girls who have experienced abuse and exploitation in the sex work industry, in their transition towards more dignified lives. The organization has 6 project areas and the key among them are listed in figure below.

Peer Mentoring Model
Life Bloom uses the peer mentoring Model in which the trained peer mentors graduate to senior mentors and they assist in reaching and mobilizing the marginalized targeted groups (peers).
The 5 steps Module
This is a training module which includes: (Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Vocational skills, Life skills and Transformative Leadership skills) The organization mobilizes and trains the sex workers so as to empower their lives through the mentioned skills in the 5 steps module. The beneficiaries are able to start their own businesses and they eventually exits from the sex work industry.
Business and Group Mentorship
The organization mentors and monitors individual and group business started by the beneficiaries and the groups formed which are under the organization respectively. This is done through offering technical support to the women in business and equipping the senior mentors as they support their peers. They are driven by the group members themselves through their active participation of the group members which help them to develop leadership skills and sharpen the skill as the group continues to grow.
Through these projects and the provided service, our key population is able to access socio- economic – political justice. All the projects are founded on a pillar of transformational leadership. Working from the streets, bars, lodges and brothels, LBSI through her Peer Mentor Model, follow the women to their homes and families, to support them in their transition towards positively product.
In the project of the Counter human trafficking, LBSI in collaboration with International Organization of (IOM has trained 30 persons on issues related with human trafficking and the indicators of trafficked persons, how and where to refer them. The persons trained were LBSI mentors, Media people, LBSI stakeholders and partners. As a result, LBSI through the peer mentor model has been able to reach and empower sex workers and other women on the ground.
In the month of March this year LBSI together with her partner and stake holders received training for one week on Anti –human trafficking. At the end of the training a referral mechanism was established which made the work anti human trafficking easier.
